OSO is a pioneer in Scandinavia with 67 years experience and highly specialized in water heating. OSO was the first to weld stainless steel with success, getting the prestigeous Scanvac Welding Prize. OSO has also been chosen as the most environmentallyfriendly manufacturing plant in Scandinavia.

Winner of the First Prize at Olympia in London, the OSO Stainless Steel Electric Water Heater was the most progressfriendly product at the exhibition. OSO is a market leader with 60% of all Water Heaters sold in Norway through the past 30 years. And most of them are still going strong!
Helping to "Save Our Beautiful World", OSO Hotwater established and is continually supporting the OSO ECO Foundation. Many important projects are being funded, among others Thor Heyerdahl’s TV-movie "Progress". The foundation also publishes a series of booklets on society, people and the environment.
